InOffice (“the App”) is a local-first attendance tracking application. Your privacy is important to us.
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data you enter (attendance records including dates, statuses, and leave types) is stored on your device using local SQLite storage.
If you enable cloud backup in Settings, your attendance data is backed up to:
Cloud backup is opt-in and disabled by default. You can enable or disable it at any time from Settings. Backups contain attendance dates and their statuses (in-office, absent, public holiday, personal leave, sick leave). You can also delete all cloud backups from the Settings screen.
The App requires no account creation, login, or registration. No personal information is requested or collected.
The App does not include any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, or third-party tracking services.
The App optionally exports attendance data to Excel (.xlsx) files. This export is initiated by you and the file is saved to your device or shared via your chosen method (email, messaging, etc.). We do not have access to these exported files.
The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. Cloud storage services (iCloud and Google Drive) are only used when you explicitly enable cloud backup.
Local data is stored in an unencrypted SQLite database managed by your device’s operating system. Cloud backups are stored in your personal cloud accounts, subject to the security measures of Apple and Google respectively.
You have the following rights regarding your data:
Local data is kept on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Cloud backups are retained until you delete them or disable cloud backup. Deleting the app from your device removes local data; cloud backups (if enabled) must be deleted separately from the Settings screen.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected within the App.
